Game Of Thrones Season Four Date Revealed

Hit series Game of Thrones will return to UK screens for its fourth series on April 7, less than 24 hours after it airs in the US.
The HBO series, based on George RR Martin's fantasy novels, has won numerous awards including the Bafta TV audience Award, 10 Primetime Emmys and a Golden Globe.

The Medieval series averaged 14.2 million viewers in the US for the third series, HBO's second-highest figures after The Sopranos.
Fans' appetite for the show also made it the most pirated show of 2013, according to TorrentFreak, with nearly six million people using file-sharing sites to downloading the season finale.
The UK scheduling, where it airs on Sky Atlantic HD, is seen as an attempt to deter viewers from watching it illegally.
Shot extensively in Northern Ireland, Croatia and Iceland, directors for the fourth series include Michelle MacLaren, who worked on Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and The X Files.
The fourth season is based on the second half of A Storm of Swords, the third book in George R R Martin's series, A Song of Ice and Fire.
The writer will also return to write an episode for the series.
